We are humbled to be a part of the sacred calling of giving people space to encounter Jesus. Having a front row seat to seeing lives changed is a honor and a gift! Camp is a special place where people get away from the distractions of life and given the space to breathe and process, they connect with God and others and the last few months is no exception!
At our Women’s Retreat, we focused on making time to be with God and it was a time of deep encouragement for many. One particular gal came in with a fairly negative attitude. By the morning she left, her behavior displayed a 180 degree switch. When she departed, she told me, “I had no idea I could encounter Jesus in the way I did this weekend.”
At a youth retreat in late April, a young man gave his life to Jesus. His leaders had been praying for him for years!
Another retreat in May, the leadership relayed to me that there was incredible times of prayer and deliverance for several in their group.
At out first Youth camp in June, we had a young man give his life to Jesus. He came to camp on a scholarship as a family has welcomed him in to their home, needing a place to stay and they wanted to sent him to camp, but had no extra funds. Because of the generosity and prayers from people like YOU, he was able to come to camp and has changed his life for eternity!
We are at just the beginning of summer stories of God’s work in people’s lives. I can’t wait to update you in August with all that God did this summer!

Projects
- We had a storm come through camp early in the morning of June 23. We had a lot of trees down. If you are handy with a chainsaw, axe and like to chop wood, we have lots of wood to move and clean up!
- We also have our list of ongoing projects like painting, minor repairs, grounds care, and even office work

Praise and Prayer
- God is STILL using BSC to impact lives! 21 kids have said YES to Jesus so far this summer!
- There is an expectancy building to see what God is up to and what He will do!
- Pray for our team to continue to lead and develop camp in the way that honors God and sets up BSC to impact lives of students, adults and families for more generations to come!
- Pray for safety among campers and staff this summer!
- Pray that God will provide for camp with volunteers and donors to help move the mission of BSC forward!
