scholarship and started
a new life with Jesus!

YEAR END PROJECT OPPORTUNITIES TO FUND CAMP
FORWARD
This year we have 5 Funds in which to partner with us:

We have a grand plan! In a world where things are getting more expensive, we want camp to become LESS expensive! Imagine costs going down every year instead of up! We would
love camp’s cost to be so low that families can not only send their own kids to camp, but they can also pay for their neighbor’s kids. More kids at camp =
more lives changed. We want to see camp bursting with campers! When you give to the scholarship
fund you help countless kids come to camp to encounter Jesus who loves them, wants to give them hope, a future, and a purpose for their life. This coming year we have enough funds to drive the price of camp from $400 down to $325. For this to keep working,
we need more people to give gifts to keep bringing camp costs down and more kids coming! This is a gift of true Kingdom Impact!

Activity Development Fund
|
|
Camp should be
fun! Many kids come to camp for the fun and in that, have a chance to
encounter Jesus! The fun activities at camp are more than just fun, they also assist in helping
shape a person. They provide exercise, opportunities to learn teamwork, a chance to learn something new or become better, face a fear or accomplish something they never imagined they could do. Our zipline, initiatives course, Big Swing, waterfront, craft shop,
petting farm, rock wall, etc. accomplish these things in the lives of our campers. These areas need ongoing maintenance to stay safe and in compliance as well as replacement of worn out equipment and an opportunity to dream of more ways to give experiences
to campers. If you love the outdoors, activities, skill development, teamwork and positive experiences, this partnership is for you!

Leadership Development Fund
|
|
Do you have a heart for the next generation? Do you want to see people developed for leadership and kingdom advancement? The leadership development fund is about investing
in the growth and development of leaders. We desire to keep building our internship program and developing our full time staff and summer staff. We want to help contribute to continuing education for those pursuing ministry and work at camp – which is a great
place to learn and grow in ministry skills! We want to be a camp that intentionally builds IN to our interns and staff for greater impact in them and through them. If you have a heart to encourage developing leaders, this is the partnership for you!

Building Development Fund
|
|
Big Sandy Camp has been around for over 65 years! While only a few buildings are older than that, many buildings need TLC! Currently, a big area of need is
OAK LODGE HVAC. Oak only has storage heat and no AC. We need to get the HVAC upgraded to be
able to better care for the building and have more reliable heat in the winter. This project is estimated to cost
$35,000. We also need upgrades in the
KITCHEN - the hood vent and walk in cooler. Carpet, roofs, furnaces and a bathroom for the
gym are also needs that are coming around the corner. Our buildings see a lot of use – thousands of people come through them and they need love and attention! If you want to see the facility of camp sustain and grow for the next generation, this partnership
is for you!
